Philosophy

Here at reCOOPERate PT we want to do things differently. Exercise has been proven to have the most long lasting effects on musculoskeletal pain including back pain, neck pain, knee pain, and shoulder pain. We want to give you the tools you need to help yourself recover from all types of injuries and ailments at your own pace, at home. Each program is designed by Jason Cooper, Doctor of Physical Therapy. They are designed to be affordable so that it can reach the most people possible. 

Meet Jason Cooper, Doctor of Physical Therapy

I want to take a minute to “e-meet” you. I’m Jason, and I have a passion for helping and teaching everyone that I can. My goal is to get evidence-based exercise programs to everyone who has musculoskeletal complaints. I have been working in the physical therapy world since 2008, most of that time in sports and orthopedic rehabilitation. I have worked with people with no exercise experience to professional and olympic athletes. 

I want to give you the most bang for your buck with specific exercise prescription. All of the evidence shows that exercise is the most beneficial way to change the physiologic components of your muscles and improve your pain. 

Each rehab program is designed to get harder and harder and is in PDF format so you can quickly save and reference the exercises. PDF programs are only $5 because I really want this information to get to you, your friends, family, and anyone who has joint or muscle pain or weakness. As a special promotion I will offer home exercise programs for FREE with the code “welcome” to the first 20 people. If you take advantage of this deal I just ask that you please write a review so I can improve on the PDF exercise progressions. 

These are general home exercise programs, but they cover the most common areas of weakness for each injury. Everyone is different and has different areas of strength and weakness so I recommend that you see a physical therapist or medical practitioner to assess your strength and movement patterns to make a custom program just for you. I can do a video consultation to customize your program, or we can meet in person if you are in New York City.  For a limited time, I am offering virtual physical therapy appointments for $75, and in person appointments are $150. I’m looking forward to working with you and returning you to what you love to do!
