Plantar fasciitis is an irritation of the plantar fascia on the bottom of your foot. The most common complaints is pain on the bottom of the foot especially by the heel, pain with the first few steps when getting out of bed, and increasing pain with in the bottom of the feet with increased weight bearing activity like walking, running, or standing.
